Assoc. Prof. Dr. M. Tolga Özer

After his graduation from German High School of Istanbul, Assoc. Prof. Dr. M. Tolga Ozer received his bachelor degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 2010. Following his graduation, he pursued his academic studies at Istanbul University. In 2013, he completed his master at Istanbul University Institute of Social Sciences with his thesis titled “Joint Pledge”. Afterwards he earned his PhD in 2019 with his thesis titled “Error in Civil Law”. During his PhD study, he worked as a visiting researcher at the Institute for Comparative Law, Conflict of Laws and International Business Law in Heidelberg and the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Law in Hamburg. In addition to continuing his academic studies in the field of Civil Law. Tolga has obtained the title of Associate Professor with his book of “Hotchpot in Inheritance Law” in 2023.

Tolga has been providing expertise and consultancy in legal disputes related to different areas of Civil Law.
